Judith Smith and Ray Cooke, Directors within the Radiolabelled Sciences Division at Pharmaron, have recently returned from their business trip to Japan promoting the combination of radiosynthesis and ADME/Efate services to both Japanese Pharmaceutical and Agrochemical companies. The trip culminated in a joint presentation entitled “Pharmaron’s Integrated Agrochemical approach I) Radiosynthesis II) Regulatory and Scientific developments in Animal Metabolism studies” at the Japanese Pesticides Conference in Matsuyama, famous for its traditional hot springs and hilltop castle. This presentation can be downloaded by clicking here.
Overall this was a successful trip, building on established relationships and prospective new business under the Pharmaron name. The recent acquisition of Xceleron and internal technology transfer involving Pharmaron Beijing expertise has further expanded the range of services available at Pharmaron Radiolabelled Sciences and definitely generated interest on this Japan trip – plenty to build upon for the next time!
